Join us March 31st - April 27th, 2025 for a month of comedy and theater by incredible casts and writers, in-person in Los Angeles and livestreamed online!

Line-up includes Steven Universe's Rebecca Sugar, stand-up icon River Butcher, Tony-winning theater-maker JJ Maley, Dropout.tv's Jiavani, Alex Song-Xia, DJ Mausner, and many more!

Trans folks are more visible than ever in recent memory—and also have been scapegoated by the current administration, with a huge target on our backs. But these shows aren't (all) sad—we've got comedy, joy—even some puppets (we think)!

INFO: He/She is a psychological thriller that follows HIM, a young trans man who is deep into his transition yet still grappling with the repercussions of living as his true self in a world dominated by cis-heteronormative values. HIM is in a stable relationship and comfortable nannying GIRL, when his life is radically altered by his interview for a new job with HER, a mysterious and potentially dangerous individual. As HIM’s relationship with HER develops, he begins to question his reality, wondering why HER seems to have a personal issue with him. Tensions escalate as HIM confronts self-doubt and the painful idea of "lost time," struggling to reconcile his past with his future.. Through HIM’s unraveling, the play challenges the meaning of identity, worth, and how we learn to forgive ourselves while navigating the complexities of who we are and who we are becoming.

INFO: So many trans people did not get to play formative roles when we were growing up. We did not get to explore these classic works in high school and community theater. This is our opportunity to play the classic roles we grew up on, read and saw in school and elsewhere, but did not have an opportunity to play ourselves. We are giving ourselves a chance to play in this world.

With everything we were already facing—and are especially facing now—we have no choice but to stand up and be seen. Our art is our action.

    Featuring:

Jamie Clayton, Brian Michael Smith, Rain Valdez, Alexandra Billings, Theo Tiedemann, and Chaz Bono. Directed by Eve Lindley

Through a blend of humor, nostalgia, and raw vulnerability, the play explores the ghosts we inherit, the ones we create, and the power of storytelling to break generational cycles.”
